Stone Barn Restoration
Existing rubble stone repaired and repointed, a new slate roof laid, brick reveals reinstated and an oak-framed canopy added over a timber deck.
A stone barn brought back into use. The existing rubble stone was repaired and repointed, a new slate roof laid, and the brick window reveals reinstated.
Conservation-led work runs the other way round from new build: the existing fabric sets the method, and the job is to add as little new material as the building will tolerate. The oak-framed canopy is the one deliberately contemporary addition.
