New-Build Residences
Structural frame, façade and cantilevered balconies delivered from substructure to weathertight, with stone cladding and timber brise-soleil set out from the frame.
A new-build residential scheme taken from substructure through to weathertight. The frame sets out every subsequent trade, so the tolerances at this stage decide whether the cladding, the balustrades and the brise-soleil land where the drawings say they will.
The cantilevered balconies and the stone-clad bays are the two elements where a frame error becomes visible from the street. Both were set out from the frame rather than from the finished face, and checked before the scaffold came down.
